New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) is a provincially-recognized, public post-secondary institution situated in New Brunswick, Canada. The college offers students a variety of different programs across their six campuses. Located near the banks of the world-famous Miramichi River, NBCC Miramichi offers 25 regular programs in the following areas: Applied and Media Arts, Business, Environmental, Health, Social and Protective Services, and Trades. - Campus Life: Campus staff and students are very involved with local community events and actively volunteer throughout the year. There are several events that take place, including: The Pumpkin Festival, Spring Fling, the weekly local community market and live music.
- Facilities: The NBCC Forest Training Centre, located approximately 8 km from the main Miramichi campus, is home to the Heavy Equipment Service Technician program.

College Diploma - Administrative Professional - Health Services
Administrative professionals are valued members of the healthcare community. They are detail-oriented individuals who use their enhanced communication skills to work with patients and hospital staff. This program builds upon the core skills learned in the Administrative Professional program. Students will learn medical software systems as well as medical terminology, standards, and practices. Training and workplace experience will also provide students with expert problem solving and interpersonal skills to get them job ready. Medical administrative professionals are in high demand as hospitals need support to manage workflow and boost business efficiency.
College Diploma - Human Service Practitioner
Human services practitioners connect individuals and families with the support they need to increase their participation in society. From providing physical and emotional support to full-on crisis intervention, when people in the community need help, human services practitioners are there to make a difference in their quality of life. A career in human services could be perfect for students who have a heart for helping others and a passion for people and community.
In the Human Service Practitioner program, students will learn how to assist vulnerable individuals of all ages with complex needs who are experiencing challenges in daily life. Through a combination of experiential and applied learning, students will gain knowledge and skills in delivering individual and group programming, human development, exceptionalities, and counselling strategies. Students will also study communication methods, ethical conduct, crisis response and behavioural change.
This program requires valid language test results
Applicants interested in applying for direct admission, but are yet to complete an acceptable language test, can do so, but must provide valid results before receiving a final offer letter.
