Global Bridge Education Placement Services (GLOBE) is proud to release its first newsletter, “The SEC.” The name is the acronym for Settlement, Education, and Career.
The focus of The SEC is to provide insights and value-add information to newcomers in Canada.
Canada welcomes an average of 300,000 newcomers each year (www.statista.com) and has an annual target of 401,000 newcomers each year according to Canada.ca.
“Our goal is to connect with newcomers and answer their questions around these 3 crucial areas – settlement, education, and career,” says Abel Pagaling, GLOBE’s COO. “They need to thrive in all 3 areas so they can take full advantage of what Canada has to offer. The SEC can be newcomers’ valuable and accurate companion moving forward.”
The SEC is available to download online at thesec.globalbridge-edu.com. Viewers can also subscribe to automatically receive a copy of the upcoming issues. A printed copy of The SEC will be available in select locations in the country in the upcoming months.
“Although our area of expertise in GLOBE is providing professional education advising, education alone doesn’t give a complete roadmap for newcomers to achieve their potential in Canada,” says Abel. “There also has to be some guidance in settlement and career which we will touch on extensively in The SEC.”
