Since 1967, Cambrian College has been the leading post-secondary institution in Northern Ontario. The College has a vibrant community of more than 4,800 students and over 1,600 international students from over 40 countries. Cambrian College offers over 80 full-time programs, across three campus locations in northern Ontario: Sudbury, Espanola, and Little Current / Manitoulin Island. Location: The City of Greater Sudbury, where Cambrian College is based, serves as the education, health care, business, shopping and entertainment hub of Northern Ontario. In addition Greater Sudbury is built on the Sudbury basin, a nearly two-billion year-old impact crater (the second largest on earth!).

College Diploma - Civil Engineering Technician (CVTN)
Use science and technology to help build the world! Cambrian College’s Civil Engineering Technician program is focused on the design, construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of infrastructure facilities including: roads, bridges, buildings, dams, storm/sanitary/water systems, pipelines, and deep and shallow foundations.
Acquire the skills and knowledge to become a member of civil engineering teams that are responsible for planning, costing, building, maintaining, and rehabilitating roads, bridges, buildings, water distribution systems, and pipelines. Courses are focused on applying professionalism towards drafting, surveying, construction methods, costing, quality control, inspections, and laboratory testing.
Cambrian College’s computer-aided drafting (CAD) laboratories provides students with practical, hands-on experience. Students will also receive surveying training with electronic distance and angle measuring equipment that will be interfaced with coordinate geometry and drafting software. In addition, to meet the demand for structural steel detailers, students will learn automated structural detailing.
College Diploma - Social Service Worker - Indigenous Specialization (SSIS)
This two-year Social Services Worker – Indigenous Specialization diploma program will offer a culturally relevant, client-centered approach that provides Indigenous and non-Indigenous students with the opportunity to prepare for work in the human services field. The Social Services Worker is a regulated profession, with standards of practice and established professional ethics regulated by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Students will learn to demonstrate consistent ethical, legal, and professional responsibility and adherence to the social work values and principles. The Indigenous specialization option will provide graduates with enhanced knowledge, skills, and the cultural competencies to work effectively with Indigenous peoples.
