College Diploma - Business - Marketing
Confederation College’s Business – Marketing two-year diploma program places emphasis on learning key skills as well as developing a business work ethic that will assist students in getting ready to enter this exciting field. Marketing is all about analyzing customer needs and wants and building customer relationships. Students will build on their existing strengths and learn how to communicate effectively, conduct market research and analyze those results to make strategic decisions. Marketing student will develop their ability to work as a member of a team, as well as strengthen their research and creative problem solving skills. Courses cover a variety of topics including advertising, advanced marketing, marketing research.
Graduates of Business – Marketing can find employment opportunities in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, market research, social media marketing, event planning, digital online marketing, blogging, merchandising, customer service relations and more.
College Diploma - Business - Accounting
The Business – Accounting program is designed for students who want to develop skills and knowledge appropriate for an entry-level accounting position, this two-year program begins with a common Business first year at the end of which, on successful completion, students will earn a Business Fundamentals Certificate. In their second year in the program will give students the perfect foundation to continue building their studies towards a CPA Advanced Certificate in Accounting and Finance. On successful completion of this program, students will be given the option of completing one additional year in the Business Administration – Accounting program.
