Why Fanshawe College - Simcoe
- Campus life: Fanshawe has gained a reputation for having one the best student experiences. Much of that is thanks to the Fanshawe Student Union which hosts 200+ clubs and events and is committed to supporting student success across all campuses. With 1000’s of international students from over 100 different countries there is plenty of support and opportunities to meet others through the International Centre and Students Services.
- Facilities: The Simcoe/Norfolk Regional Campus does things a little differently. First of all, they’ll get to know students by name rather than by number. And whatever a student’s background, caring staff is there to help students and cheer them on from start to finish. They understand that getting started on a path to a new career, new training or exploring new interests can sometimes be the toughest part. Rest assured, students will enjoy small, non-intimidating classes, state-of-the art facilities and equipment, support resources, free parking and more. The family-like atmosphere really is the ideal setting in which to thrive.
- Experiential Learning: Fanshawe has over 60 co-operative education programs which is more than any other college in Canada. These programs help jumpstart student’s career by combining valuable, paid work experience with their academic program.
- Area: Conveniently located in the heart of a great community – Norfolk County is known for its rural charm, strong agricultural base, Carolinian forests, sandy beaches, ports, towns and villages along Lake Erie (a.k.a. Ontario’s South Coast).
