Red River College Polytechnic (RRC Polytech) is Manitoba’s largest institute of applied learning and research, with more than 200 full- and part-time degree, diploma and certificate options. Red River College Polytechnic is Manitoba’s polytechnic — the only institute of applied research and work-integrated learning in the province, and one of only 13 polytechnics in Canada. At RRC Polytech, they combine classroom theory with work-integrated learning, giving students access to flexible learning pathways and real-world experience.
Located in Winnipeg’s city centre, the Exchange District Campus (EDC) includes many different buildings spread throughout Winnipeg’s historic Exchange District and Downtown. This campus is located within walking distance of many commercial and residential buildings. The Roblin Centre is where most of the Business, Information Technology and Creative Arts programs take place. Also located in the Exchange District Campus, the Paterson GlobalFoods Institute (PGI) is where the Culinary and Hospitality programs take place. This is also where the campus residence is located. Additionally, there is now the Manitou a bi Bii daziigae building, which is Red River College Polytechnic’s expansion of the Exchange District Campus, and the first RRC Polytech building to receive an Indigenous name. Manitou a bi Bii daziigae was previously known as the Innovation Centre project.

College Diploma - Application Development and Delivery
Master software development to delivery of computer applications focused on providing an exceptional customer experience for business. In this program, students will gain the skills and knowledge related to all aspects of the software development life cycle, including design, building, testing, deployment, and maintenance in the cloud. Students will also use agile processes and collaboration tools to work in teams, implement user experience (UX) perspectives and write technical and business documentation.
Prepare for career success by developing important skills in automation, architecture and design, API development, containerization and virtualization, team-based software development, source and version control, and query languages. As a graduate of this program, students will also master web application development tools, the agile methodology, programming languages, and continuous integration and deployment of secure code.
In addition to classroom learning, this program includes a work-integrated learning term that gives students real-world industry experience through an industry project or a paid co-op work position or applied research.
Application Development and Delivery graduates build successful careers in software application development, DevOps, and leadership positions in private and public sector organizations across a wide variety of industries.

They are service-minded professionals who put customer experience and the needs of the business first. IT Operations teams define how an organization manages software, hardware, and cloud services. They provide other IT support such as network administration, storage, information security, device management, cloud management and help/service desks.
The world of IT Operations is growing as modern organizations rely on technology to be the backbone which supports their activities. Students will develop their skills in IT Operations, enabling them to manage processes and services for clients inside and outside of the organization.
