In an increasingly competitive education placement industry, it’s essential to stay ahead of the competition and industry trends.
To place our company in a position to compete, grow and expand, I’m thrilled to officially announce the rebranding of GLOBE to “GBE”, which stands for Global Bridge Education.
1. FRESH and Unique Image: Our outgoing brand, “GLOBE”, although quite recognizable, is neither unique in the industry nor is it the first one. It is also used by telecom industries and other companies with an international presence.
2. Legal or trademark issues: In addition to the first reason, rebranding now allows us to avoid issues such as trademark disputes or infringement claims. This will become increasingly important as we penetrate new markets in different countries.
3. Reputation management: Given the overexposure of the name “GLOBE” in many industries, any negative incidents involving a company that has this name can have a negative impact on ours as well.
4. Differentiation: Perhaps the most important reason for the rebrand is to stand out from our competitors, and most importantly, stand out from our industry. A fresh brand identity, unique positioning, or innovative messaging can help create a distinct image that captures consumers’ attention and sets the company apart.
In all, I believe that rebranding now before further anticipated growth will allow us to address the reasons I’ve outlived and put us in a strong position as an organization now and in the future.
In the next coming weeks, our “GLOBE” brand and logo will slowly transition to the new brand – GBE. This will not impact our services or our commitment to our clients and advisors. In fact, with this rebrand, we seek to enhance both.
